Saved under Aurora Borealis

In 2022, I painted for the first time in years. And released a floodgate of emotion while discovering I had lost who i was in the early stages of motherhood. Feeling battered against the waves, lost at sea. Not knowing how I would make it out. Only able to look at the sky and pray for saving.

3 years later, 2025- I decided to revisit that painting. And I decided the story needed an ending. Because I had rediscovered myself in that time. Storms will still come, but I know that I they will pass.
For me God provides the light, the way out to find land. To survive, and to share my story.

We each battle storms and it's important to tell our story. Sharing our stories brings together communities and rebuilds hope, love and support that were once maybe lost.
